Camilla Nobili
Lecturer in Mathematics, University of Surrey
I am a mathematician working in partial differential equations, fluid mechanics, and mathematical physics. I am currently Lecturer in Mathematics at the University of Surrey. Her research focuses on turbulence, mixing, convection, transport equations, and stochastic PDEs.
Welcome! I’m Camilla, a mathematician with a journey that’s taken me across Europe. I studied in Rome at La Sapienza, did my PhD in Leipzig at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in the Sciences with Felix Otto, and then moved on to a postdoc in Basel with Gianluca Crippa. After that, I held a W1 Junior Professorship in Hamburg, and now I’m a Lecturer at the University of Surrey.
